The hosts are incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home with their warm hospitality. The breakfast is delicious and can be enjoyed on the rooftop terrace with stunning views. The rooms are comfortable, and the showers are the best we've had in Peru. Great location in the city center and safe to walk around at night. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Cabu in Arequipa for two days while hiking the canyon. The owner, Arturito, was incredibly helpful and made me feel safe the whole time. He even let me leave my backpack after checking out and called me a cab to make sure I wasn't overcharged. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing and the bed in my room was huge and comfortable. Arturito went above and beyond, helping me book a tour to the canyon and providing great advice. I felt like I was staying with a fun uncle!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

We got great value for our money at Cabu. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Plaza de Armas, and the staff treated us like family.
Hotel breakfast could've used more options.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hostel. the host, Arturo, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He allowed us to check in early after our overnight bus ride and even gave us an upgrade to a room with a private bathroom. the room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. the location of the hostel was very convenient, within walking distance to the center and buses to the bus terminal right outside. Arturo also allowed us to leave our bags while we went on a hike in the Colca Canyon. On the day of our check-out, we were able to stay in the communal area until late in the evening before catching our bus. Cons: Nothing to be said. 😊.

The friendliest and most helpful host we encountered during our trip, going out of his way to make our stay special. He even upgraded us to a spacious room with a private bathroom. the breakfast served on the rooftop terrace was a great way to start our day with a panoramic view of the city. the location was excellent, just a short walk to the central plaza and other attractions.
The smell from the drain in the bathroom wasn't pleasant, but we were able to manage by keeping the window open and the bathroom door shut. the shower head in our room wasn't great and the water only got warm, not hot.

I had a great stay at this hostel with the nicest person ever, Arturo. He went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect, even waking up at 2am to ensure my pick-up for a tour went smoothly. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the city center, and the WiFi worked flawlessly. The breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view was a lovely start to the day. I truly felt at home away from home with Arturo and his son always there to help. I highly recommend this hostel for a wonderful stay in Arequipa.
